She really wasn’t having any of it.
Cardi B’s rise in 2018 has been nothing short of meteoric.
She released her album Invasion of Privacy in April of this year, and it features some of the biggest songs of the year.
She is also expected to pick up a Grammy for her song ‘I Like It’, which was definitely one of the most listened to songs in the past 12 months.
Outside of the studio, her name has remained in the headlines too.
She has had a number of altercations with rapper Nicki Minaj, one of which involved her throwing a shoe at Minaj’s head at a fashion show, and she has gotten herself in trouble with the law a few times too.
In July had her first baby with the rapper Offset, a member of the popular rap trio Migos.
The two have since split, and it hasn’t exactly been a clean break.
Days after the breakup he took to Twitter to talk about how much he misses his ex girlfriend:
FUCK YALL I MISS CARDI
— OFFSET (@OffsetYRN) December 9, 2018
And he hasn’t stopped there.
Offset interrupted Cardi B’s set at music festival, Rolling Loud, last night and begged her to take him back in front of a crowd of thousands of people.
He had a sign that read “Take me back”, and professed his love for her. Meanwhile, Cardi B was less than impressed.

We’re not sure how we feel about him coming to her place of work in an attempt to win her back to be honest.
