Saturday Night Warm-Up Tracks: System of a Down, Knife Party and Wu-Tang Clan

We’re not gonna lie, we wish we were over at Reading, we really do (PR take note), so we thought we would run with a very Reading-orientated Warm Up Tracks for ya today. Did you know, it’s not about books?

System of a Down – ‘Toxicity’

It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years since this was released, when SOAD were at the peak of their powers. They’re not quite as popular now, but would still love to see them this weekend, mind.

Knife Party – Bonfire

We really do wish we were at Reading. We really do. A Sunday night in Reading watching these boys would be only ‘animal’, as the kids say.

Wu-Tang Clan – Gravel Pit

We happened upon Wu-Tang in the Tripod a while back, and by happened we mean we bought tickets and went. It was very confusing as Method Man was not there and RZA and GZA were having way too much of a good time.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
