Lionel Richie and Kanye West, Glastonbury 2015 really does have it all.
He might be a prize eejit most of the time but there’s also no doubting that Kanye West is a brilliant musician and that he puts on a hell of a show when performing live.
He’ll be doing what he does best at Glastonbury in the summer after it was announced on the festival website this evening and by the man himself that he would be joining Lionel Richie and the Foo Fighters as headline acts at the festival at the end of June.

A brief statement on the website read: “We’re very excited to reveal that Kanye West will headline the Saturday night of this year’s Glastonbury Festival. This will be the rapper’s first appearance at the Festival.
“Said Emily Eavis on Twitter: “We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!””
Those three are the only confirmed acts so far, but Glastonbury is already sold out and only a lucky few will get their hands on cancelled and returned tickets that will be made available in the coming weeks.
