Take That announce second Dublin date due to phenomenal demand

Take That Dublin 3Arena gig

With the one and only Rick Astley on board.

Last week brought the news that Take That will celebrate 30 years of being a band by going out on the road again, with Dublin very much in their sights.

What’s more, they’re bringing pop crooner sensation Rick Astley along for the ride. Marvellous.

Due to the inevitable phenomenal demand, a second date has now been added, with Take That set to play the 3Arena on 29 and 30 April 2019.

Tickets for the second show – 30 April – go on sale this Friday 28 September at 9.30am via Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

The tour will focus predominantly on Take That’s extensive back catalogue in a crowd-pleasing career retrospective fashion.

The band has also confirmed the release of Odyssey, a re-imagined greatest hits album that “takes the listener on a journey through the incredible musical history of one of the UK’s most successful bands of all time.”

Odyssey features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the band’s history from their 1992 debut Take that and Party right up to the present day.

It will also feature a host of special guests as well as three new tracks – the full track listing of which will be revealed at a later date.
