The 10 nominees for the Choice Music Prize, Irish Album Of The Year 2015

The best Irish albums released in 2015.

The nominees for the Choice Music Prize for Irish album of the year has been announced today.

The album award was won by The Gloaming last year and it has a roll of honour that includes the likes of Villagers, Jape, Julie Feeney, The Divine Comedy, Adrian Crowley and Two Door Cinema Club.

The winners on the night will receive €10,000 in prize money as well as the prestigious accolade.

The nominees for the Choice Music Prize are:

  • Girl Band – Holding Hands With Jamie
  • Ham SandwicH – Stories From The Surface
  • Gavin James – Bitter Pill
  • Jape – This Chemical Sea
  • Le Galaxie – Le Club
  • Colm Mac Con Iomaire – And Now The Weather
  • Roisin Murphy – Hairless Toys
  • Soak – Before We Forgot How To Dream
  • Villagers – Darling Arithmetic
  • Young Wonder – Birth

The Choice Music Prize, which is in association with IMRO and IMRA, final will take place at Vicar Street on Thursday March 3.
