The busiest band in the world during 2014 has been revealed

It doesn't sound too glamorous to us.

It doesn’t sound too glamorous to us.

The “we should start a band” conversation has been had in this office many times.

It’s not long before our dreams are crushed though when we realise we have no musical talent whatsoever.

When bands make it to the big time, touring the world is part of the job, but who travels more than anyone and does more gigs than anyone?

Gig tracking website Songkick have kept track over the last 12 months and it turns out The 1975 are the Hardest-Working Band of 2014.

The band have done 195 gigs in 29 countries which has seen them travel 249,724km in the process. That the same as doing of six laps of the Earth.

Songkick have put together this graphic of some of the other hard-working bands on the circuit. Tilt your head and have a look-see.
