We don’t think anyone is surprised by this news…

Hozier’s debut album ‘Hozier’ has stormed into the Irish charts at number one in spectacular fashion outselling his nearest competition Leonard Cohen by three to one.

The record has already gone platinum and has the biggest week one sales of the year so far beating the likes of Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Paolo Nutini.

Hozier is about to set off on a two-month tour of North American with 21 sold out dates for him to look forward to.

He’s also set to perform on one of the biggest shows on US TV, Saturday Night Live, on October 11 and if you can’t wait for that, check out his performance on Later… with Jools Holland here.

The 13-track album is available now and this is one of our favourites on it…
