It’s a piece of promo that also doubles as a potential new national anthem.
Actor and singer Keith Duffy and comedian Peter McGann have gone viral with their new Tyreland-themed twist on the song ‘Ireland’s Call”.
The unlikely collaboration appears to have its roots in a video released earlier in the year by the comedian which involved Duffy, who is a co-owner of the tyre company.
This previous clip saw McGann insert himself into a very upbeat piece of promo for Tyreland featuring the Boyzone member.

Duffy must have seen the funny side, as the pair – alongside former Ireland rugby player Shane Byrne – are onscreen together in a new comedy clip/canny piece of advertising for Tyreland.
It sees the two belting out to the tune of ‘Ireland’s Call’ the following:
“Tyreland, Tyreland, we’re waiting on your call / Mobile or in store, options – we’ve got them all.”
Shared by McGann on his social media with the caption: “Tyreland’s Call”, is it?” – you can watch the video right here:

Responding to the new clip, fellow Irish comedian Seán Burke spoke for probably many by writing: “Incredible. Just bought 7 tyres. Don’t own a car.”
