An incredibly brave and powerful performance

An incredibly brave and powerful performance.

In case you’ve been living under a rock in 2015 so far, you’ll have heard of Maxi Mark Kavanagh and the Dundalk Maxi Taxi but in case you haven’t, we’ll quickly bring you up to speed.

In the last few weeks, Mark has made viral sensations of some local musical talent by having them perform in his taxi and if you haven’t seen them yet, you should really check out David Keenan here and here, and M.T.O too.

Mark’s latest offering might be his most important yet, however, as this time around, his taxi plays host to Jade McGowan, a 14-year old who was inspired to write this song after she lost her uncle to suicide.

Jade’s performance is deservedly attracting plenty of attention already and hopefully it will help send a powerful message about a major issue in Irish society.

Powerful stuff.

Hat-tip to Craig ‘Fabio’ McKenna for the heads up on this one.
