He still has goosebumps after a “genuinely emotional” gig. Absolute scenes.
After his superb debut album Gang Signs & Prayer went to number one, 2017 was already shaping up to be Stormzy’s year, but if you’re looking for further proof of his brilliance, you’re going to see it firsthand very soon.
The grime artist is back on the road and if his gig in Dublin is anything to go by, anyone who gets to see him in the flesh in the near future is in for a treat.
Even before Stormzy arrived in Dublin, there were massive murals being made to mark the occasion as hordes of people also queued to catch a glimpse of the man himself. He even posed next to the mural!
Dublin, I don't know who's responsible for this but thank you and tomorrow is gonna be MAD. Kicking off the tour strong #GSAP 🙏🏿🌎 pic.twitter.com/x5vS9LU15v

After seeing all this love, there was only one way that Stormzy could respond.

Like so many of his fans, the Dublin crowd were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the hottest name in music right now, and he didn’t disappoint.
Take a look at some of this footage from the gig at the Olympia Theatre.
Mother. Of. God.
Just feel that energy.

There’s a genuine connection that he has with his fans and we’re jealous of anyone that will be experiencing that in the flesh.
