Will it live up to the lofty standards set by Shakira and Ricky Martin?

Will Smith is the chosen one for the 2018 World Cup anthem, and he will be joining forces with Nicky Jam and Kosovan singer Era Estrefi for the song. The news was first reported by Vibe and Colombian radio station W Radio. In an interview with the station, Nicky Jam revealed that both he and Smith were in Budapest to record the song, which is now expected to be unveiled on Friday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRpeEdMmmQ0 Clip via Shakira The track will follow Shakira's 'Waka Waka' and Ricky Martin's 'The Cup of Life', the past two anthems, and will be watched by around 2 billion people when it is played during the final of the tournament. K'naan's 'Wavin' Flag' (the best World Cup tune of all time, do not @ me) was Coca-Cola's official song of the World Cup, rather than the tournament's itself. If 'Miami', 'Gettin' Jiggy With It', 'Men in Black', 'Summertime', 'Wild Wild West', 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air', 'Nod Ya Head' and every other song Will Smith has ever recorded are anything to go by, it will be an absolute banger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwBS6QGsH_4 Clip via WillSmithVEVO
