An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the murder of Cameron Reilly

The arrest was made in Dunleer, Co. Louth on Friday morning.

Gardaí have arrested an 18-year-old male in Dunleer, Co. Louth in connection with the murder of Cameron Reilly.

Cameron’s remains were found, by a man out walking his dog, following his death on 26 May.

He is believed to have been strangled to death.

The man is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Drogheda Garda station.

Investigations are ongoing.
