Snowball fight

We’ll see you on O’Connell Bridge.

Our woolly hats are off and they’re on the hook to the person who set up this particular Facebook group – a massive snowball fight between North and South Dublin on O’Connell Bridge on Wednesday at 3pm.

Where… the hell… do we sign up?

Right here, as it turns out.

This is the brainchild of the North Dublin Services Facebook page, who write: “North v South in a vicious snowball fight to the death! Your chance to crack some 90 mile per hour curve balls off of southsiders’ foreheads!! Who’s in?

“Please note that this is an unofficial event however there may be rogue snowballers loitering the streets and we may put snowball snipers in place on the day to absolutely lash any southsider out of it that tries to cross O’Connell Bridge so cross at your own peril… you have been warned!”

IT. IS. ON!!!!

The rivalry is strong, and so far more than 2,000 people have registered their interest to make the very most out of the oncoming Beast from the East.

How come nobody ever thought of this before?
