Bus Éireann has announced that it plans to cancel the 126N Nightrider Service from Dublin to Newbridge via Naas.

The bus will make its final journey this coming Saturday (24 November). The route had originally served the stops at Heuston Station, Inchicore, Newlands Cross, Citywest, Rathcoole Junction, Kill Junction, Naas and Newbridge.

The overnight bus left Dublin for Kildare at 0.30hrs and 3.30hrs, facilitating nights out in Dublin for anyone from the above areas in neighbouring Kildare.

The latest Bus Éireann bus to depart the capital for Kildare will now leave the city at 11pm.

In a statement posted on their official Twitter page, “We regret that our Nightrider Service, Route 126N will no longer operate from Dublin to Newbridge via Naas following its last service on Saturday, 24 November. Our regular Route 126 will continue to operate as normal, with a last departure from Dublin City at 23.00.”

The news has not been well received by those who it’ll affect.
