A man in his 20s has been arrested.
Gardaí are investigating an assault which occurred at a public house in the Ballycanew area of Wexford on Saturday, 19 October.
The incident took place at approximately 11:30am.
Gardaí have released the following statement: “A man in his 30s received several stab wounds and was taken to Wexford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A man in his 20s has been arrested in relation to the incident.”
Investigations are ongoing.
