The incident occurred on Saturday morning.
A man has died following the collapse of a building in Tralee.
It is understood that the man, who was in his 60s, was working on the building at the time.
Gardaí confirmed that that five other men have also been injured as a result of the incident, though the injuries reported are not life-threatening.
The ages of these men is unknown at this time.
The incident happened at a premises on Ashe Street just after 8am this morning (28 November).
The street has since been closed and the building has been cordoned off.
Gardaí and the emergency services are now at the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority and local coroner have been notified, and investigations are ongoing.
