A great achievement by Adare Manor.

Adare Manor in Limerick has been named Hotel of the Year 2018 in the world renowned Global Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best Awards’ in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

The Limerick hotel, which was reopened in November 2017 following an extensive restoration programme that took almost two years to finish, beat away competition for the prize from hotels in the UK, France, Mauritius and Morocco.

Speaking on Thursday, Adare Manor’s CEO, Colm Hannon said: “We are delighted to receive this worldwide recognition, as it is testament to the wonderful resort we have here today and its special surroundings, which were meticulously restored and enhanced with newly designed features, following significant investment from its owners.

“On behalf of the team at Adare Manor, we would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all of the designers and contractors, who worked with us and helped us create this beautiful resort.”

The win comes after Adare Manor was named amongst the best in the world by Condé Nast Traveler earlier this year and following an expansion that included a new 42-bedroom wing to increase accommodations to 104 guest rooms, and a ballroom which can host up to 350 guests.
