People are doing all they can to get a Kevin the Carrot from Aldi this year.

Aldi have limited their sales of Kevin the Carrot soft toys to two per customer amid huge demand, so that as many people as possible have the chance to get them.

This comes following reports of people queueing for more than an hour and a half in the UK to ensure they got their hands on one of the vegetable toys.

In a statement issued to JOE, Aldi confirmed that they had increased the range and number of products this year, and that they have limited the purchases due to its popularity.

They said: “We have limited purchases of our popular Kevin The Carrot plush toy range to two soft toys of each character per customer, so as many people as possible have a chance to buy them.

“The mug, gift-wrap, decorations and other merchandise aren’t restricted.

“We know our Kevin the Carrot soft toys and merchandise are incredibly popular with our shoppers.

“This year we increased the range and number of products on offer in order to try to meet demand, however like all of our Specialbuys products, these are only available while stocks last.”

Who would have thought a cuddly toy that looks like a carrot could cause such pandemonium?
