The Northern Lights are one of the most spectacular sights you could ever wish to see and if you were lucky, you might just have caught a glimpse in the skies above Donegal last night.
Stargazers often travel far and wide in an effort to catch sight of the spectacular light display, also known as the aurora borealis, but, not for the first time, the Northern Lights were visible in the skies above Donegal last night and fortunately for us, were captured in a series of amazing pictures by local photographer Adam Rory Porter.
Adam tells us that the pictures were taken in Urris, Clonmany, Inishowen, in Donegal and we think you’ll agree that they really are once-in-a-lifetime shots.
Breath-taking.
