Ant & Dec call out Boris Johnson over Downing Street Christmas party

Ant & Dec took a pop at UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday night's episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The fallout from the footage revealing Tory members laughing and joking about having held a Christmas party is still reverberating across the UK, as people are incensed that the very arbiters of the law and Covid-19 guidelines over last year's festive period flagrantly flouted those laws while everyone else had to sacrifice seeing their families. Social media is awash with people in the UK recounting their Covid stories from last Christmas, speaking of family members that they couldn't be with before they passed away while frontline workers toiled under often devastating circumstances. Meanwhile, members of the government and, it would appear, members of the media enjoyed wine and cheese, party games, and Secret Santa. At the time of writing, the UK government is yet to admit that the apparent party actually took place.
