Alarming video footage has emerged of a member of the public attacking Arnold Schwarzenegger during an official appearance.
71-year-old Schwarzenegger was attending a sporting event in Johannesburg, South Africa, when an individual ran up behind him and dropkicked him in the back.
The actor was judging a skipping competition while posing for photographs with fans at the time of the incident.

Schwarzenegger safely walked out of the venue afterwards, and later posed with fans.
On Saturday, he posted an update on Twitter, noting that he is okay.
"Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about," Schwarzenegger began.
"I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot.
"I only realised I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you.
