Man injured following assault on O'Connell Street

A man has been injured following an assault on O'Connell Street in the early hours of Tuesday (3 May).

The assault occurred outside Spar on O'Connell Street Upper at 12.50am.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made.
