A major search and rescue operation is underway for a man who has reportedly fallen 2,000 feet from a plane
Officials in Miami have started an operation to find a person in the waters of the Key Biscane area after a passenger reportedly fell over 2,000 feet in to the waters below.
The reason for the search was a distress call from the pilot of a Piper PA 46 aircraft (pictured in the video above) who claimed that the door of his aircraft opened and the passenger fell out of the plane as a result.
There has been no news so far on the results of the search, nor whether or not the pilot’s claims are true as there has been no official confirmation on the number of passengers or people that were on board the plane when it took off.
