Gardaí are following a “definite line of enquiry”.
Gardaí are investigating “all the circumstances” following the discovery of juvenile skeletal remains in Cork.
The skeleton was found in Killeagh, following a tip to Gardaí in Midleton.
The remains have since been removed to Cork City Morgue, and the assistance of a Forensic Anthropologist has been sought.
Gardaí have confirmed that they are following a definite line of enquiry.
A post-mortem is still scheduled to take place, and the results of the examination will direct the course of the investigation.
