Bacary Sagna was excited by Santi Cazorla’s opener against Liverpool. Really excited.
Jubilant scenes greeted Santi Cazorla’s opening goal against Liverpool at the Emirates this evening and there was nobody more excited about Arsenal taking the lead than Bacary Sagna.
The full-back provided the cross with which Cazorla first hit the post with a smashing header before showing great technique to follow it up with a brilliantly-taken volley in what was a very entertaining first half at the Emirates.

Cazorla’s team-mates were keen to show their appreciation for his efforts, but none more so than Sagna, as was illustrated by a rather ill-timed photo that has been doing the rounds on Twitter since. Ooh matron, etc.
