We can’t wait to see this.

Barry Keoghan has announced that he will also be making an appearance in the upcoming movie starring Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell, The Banshees Of Inisherin.

The actor became the latest Irish acting legend to join the cast as he shared a photograph of a script from the film with his name across it on social media on Saturday evening.

Announcing the news he penned: “Only the best.”

Keoghan will be starring alongside Farrell and Gleeson as Searchlight Pictures secured the worldwide rights to what will be Martin McDonagh’s fourth feature film.

The producer has been working on the story since the beginning of his career as a playwright, conceiving the idea in 1994.

Filming has begun to taking place in Inis Mor and Achill Island and it tells the story of two lifelong pals who have their relationship tested after one decides to cut ties with the other and will also explore day to day life in rural Ireland.

The movie isn’t the first time McDonagh, Gleeson, and Farrell have worked together either as the trio also worked alongside each other for 2008 comedy, In Bruges.

The film which was also both written and directed by McDonagh saw hitman Ray (played by Colin Farrell) and his partner Ken (played by Brendan Gleeson) guilt-striken after a job gone wrong as they await orders from their ruthless boss in Bruges, Belgium.
