THC is the active ingredient in cannabis that makes users feel high.
Certain batches of CBD and hemp oil products are being recalled in Ireland due to “unsafe levels” of THC.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued an alert on Thursday (14 July) about the recall, which affects specific batches of Emerald Farm CBD, uHemp and NaturesPlus products.
It said that the implicated batches contain “unsafe levels of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) based on the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) acute reference dose”.
