With Ireland's current - and let's face it, neverending - rent crisis, the appeal of places like The Valley, as well as the location, is the ability to pay €130 a week for a minimum two-week stay, a figure significantly lower than what most people would be paying for a box room in Dublin.
With more people working from home, these nomad villages could become a more viable option as prices also include access to a co-working space, free Wi-Fi and group events.
Curated for long and short-term stays, the village contains studio apartments, two and three-bedroom dwellings and a campsite for camper vans.
The Valley is led by Work Remotely Croatia, a movement by grabAhome to establish remote work communities across the country.
They plan to allow guests to connect with other digital nomads while working and enjoying one of Croatia’s most recognised cities - as well as networking events to allow travellers to connect with other professionals.
