Three arrested as teenager left in critical condition following attack in Belfast

Three men have been arrested in connection with an attack on a male in south Belfast.

The incident took place on Friday 3 May, at around 4.15pm.

According to a statement issued by the PSNI, police were called following reports of a disturbance at a flat on the Donegal Road.

Once inside the apartment, they located the 17-year-old victim injured and unconscious.

The teenage boy has since been taken to hospital where his condition is understood to be critical.

An investigation is now underway.

Detective Inspector Keith Wilson said: “The arrested males were detained at the scene and were taken to Musgrave police station for questioning. They remain in police custody this morning, Saturday 4 May.
