The event will take place at the same time in two separate venues.
Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and Sir Rod Stewart are among a list of artists set to take to the stage for a charity concert to raise funds for wildfire relief in Los Angeles.
The event, called FireAid, will take place on 30 January and will feature a host of performers who all have ties to California.
Deadly wildfires have been tearing through the city of Los Angeles in the last week with at least 27 dead and hundreds of thousands displaced from their homes.
The lineup also includes the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, Earth, Wind & Fire, Pink, Sting, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Jelly Roll, Stephen Stills, Dave Matthews & John Mayer and Tate McRae.
The live shows will take place at two separate venues at the same time.
Some artists will perform at the Intuit Dome – home to the LA Clippers American football team – while others will be at the Kia Forum. Both venues are in the Inglewood area of the city.
Millions of dollars in donations have already been made to help those who have been displaced as a result of the distaster, including $2.5m from singer Beyonce, and $15m from The Walt Disney Company.
All the money raised from FireAid will be distributed to short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.
Numerous celebrities have had their homes burned to the ground as a result of the wildfires.
Actor Anthony Hopkins, who purchased a stunning four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the Pacific Palisades area for $6 million in 2021 – saw his property destroyed by the flames.
The house was supposed to be a fresh start for the Oscar-winning actor, who had sold his long-time Malibu oceanfront place for $10.5 million—more than double what he paid for it back in 2001.
Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester’s $7 million mansion was also destroyed.
The couple purchased the five bedroom home in 2019, but pictures showed the property now engulfed in flames.
