The body was discovered at approximately 11.45am on Tuesday morning.
Gardaí in Cork are investigating the death of a man in his 40s at the River Lee Walkway in Cork City.
The body was discovered on 22 January 2019 at approximately 11.45am.
A post mortem was carried out at Cork University Hospital by Dr Margaret Bolster on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardaí have said that following the post mortem, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
