hottest day of the year

It’s going to be hot.

Met Eireann has said that Ireland could experience the hottest day of the year so far on Monday.

The forecaster has predicted hot weather this weekend and over the next week, with temperatures set to rise to 27 degrees in some places.

This is due to high pressure over Ireland, which is bringing with it dry and warm conditions.

Friday will be mostly cloudy but some sunny spells will develop in places, especially in the south and east of the country.

Highest temperatures will range from 17 to 23 degrees with some drizzle possible along the north and north-west coasts.

Saturday will start out mostly cloudy with drizzle and mist in some areas, however, things will clear up in the afternoon with warm sunshine developing, bringing temperatures of 16 to 23 degrees, with the south of the country set to experience the warmest conditions.

But Sunday and Monday is when the country will see the highest temperatures.

Sunday will be warm and largely dry with good sunny spells and highest temperatures of between 20 and 25 degrees.

And finally, Monday will see temperatures reach 27 degrees in some areas on a day that will be warm and dry with good spells of sunshine.
