The body of a man, in his 20s, was discovered shortly before 3pm today. The house is located in the Woodville estate, Lucan, just off the N4.
The man is understood to have wounds to his body but Gardaí have not yet established the cause of death.
The scene has since been closed by local Gardaí who are currently at the scene.
