This morning JOE brought you the news that Met Éireann had issued a Red Weather warning for coastal counties.
Well, it seems like they certainly weren’t messing about as news has now reached us that Kent Train Station in Cork has been extensively damaged in the high winds.
According to initial reports on Red FM three people have also been injured but thankfully not seriously.
Noel Dolan, who lives across the road from the station has tweeted these images:
