Mmmmmmmmmmm...

Our mouths are watering already…

One of the fastest-growing burger joints in the US is looking to expand and set up in five locations across the island of Ireland including: Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Belfast.

The Irish Times reports that three Irish businessmen and brothers, Brett, Ross and Derry Desmond, have secured the Irish Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchise.

Initially, Five Guys plans to (fittingly) open up five restaurants in Dublin before expanding out to the rest of the country.

So what makes Five Guys different to any other burger joint that’s currently flipping patties?

According to the Five Guys website, there are ‘over 250,000 possible ways to order a burger at Five Guys’, there are no freezers and only coolers in all Five Guys locations, and they only use peanut oil in their cooking.

It’s still early days for Five Guys here in Ireland and there has been no word yet as to when we can expect to sink our teeth into their burgers, but it’s sure to bring a rake of jobs and new business to the areas mentioned.
