Best. Idea. Ever.

We can all remember times when we’ve been talked into traipsing around a shopping centre for hours on end. After a while, you start to feel like that kid in Stranger Things who ended up in the Upside Down world.

You’re not sure where you are, you can’t remember how you got there, but you’re pretty sure that you’re doomed to spend the rest of your days there. Many a brave soul has been broken by a day’s shopping but EA SPORTS are about to change the game for reluctant shoppers in Dundrum Town Centre.

This will change everything.

They’ve installed an impressive “Man Creche” pop-up in the shopping centre where you can effectively hide out while playing the newly-released FIFA 18. That certainly beats endless walking around shops.

There are two back-to-back 75″ TVs and up to four people can simultaneously play FIFA 18 on the PS4. It’s also been fully kitted out with leather couches, beanbags and soft drinks.

Plus, EA SPORTS doing a pretty neat promotion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of having League of Ireland clubs in the game. You’ll be able to download one of 12 specially-designed sleeves from the website, with each sleeve featuring a different Premier Division League of Ireland club. How good would it be to have a copy of FIFA featuring your local club on the cover for posterity?

This pop-up offers a fantastic opportunity to try out this much-anticipated new release from one of the most enduringly popular game franchises ever. That’s much better than standing awkwardly in a shop that you really don’t want to be in and offering your opinion on things that you know nothing about.

If you are planning to give it a go over the weekend, we’d recommend getting down there early. The chances are that a lot of people will have the same idea!

The EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Man Creche will be running in Dundrum Town Centre from 29 September to 1 October.
