Coppers

Nice work, if you can get it.

Have you ever been on a night out in Coppers and wondered just how much they make every year?

To be honest, we imagine that you haven’t, because you probably have plenty of other things on your mind. Things that we don’t want to know about…

But considering the place is packed almost every single night, we knew that they made quite a bit.

And when we say quite a bit, we mean quite a bit..

According to the Independent, the company that operates Copper Face Jacks on Dublin’s Harcourt Street, last year recorded pre-tax profits of €4.095m – or just over €78,000 per week.

The owners of the nightclub, which is definitely one of the busiest in the country, also handed themselves a shared pay of €1.28m – or €24,775 per week for the two.

The €1.28m in pay represents a 63pc, or €497,688 pay rise, on the €790,568 paid out to the two in the prior year.

Not too shabby, is it?

And we can only imagine that it’s going to be a busy period at this very moment.

Hell, we reckon all this mention of Coppers is tempting one or two of you to head out tonight…
