There are only 11 days left to claim a sizeable Lotto jackpot.
As with all Lotto jackpots, the winner has 90 days to collect their prize before they are forced to forfeit the cash.
If (and possibly when, in this case) that happens, the money is used to “promote the National Lottery and fund special draws which in turn increases the funds raised for good causes,” according to a National Lottery spokesperson.
For one lucky (or potentially unlucky) winner in Mayo, those 90 days run out in a little over a week’s time.
The winning €3 Quick Pick ticket was purchased in a Claremorris Tesco in Mayo back in November of 2014 and it managed to scoop the person in question a handsome €2.9 million.
The numbers drawn for this winning ticket were: 7, 8, 18, 28, 35, 39 and the bonus was 37.
So if you, or someone you know happened to pick up a €3 Quick Pick from a Tesco in Claremorris back in November then be warned: You have until 5.50pm on Friday, February 27, to claim your millions.
