Ryanair has said an individual on a flight to Ireland was removed by crew after breaching airport security and becoming “disruptive” on board.

The airline confirmed that the event took place on a flight from London Stansted to Dublin on Wednesday (15 December) after footage from the plane was shared on social media.

In a video posted to Twitter, a man is seen standing maskless at the front of the aircraft shouting claims about Covid-19 at passengers.

After making a variety of claims to passengers, the man was eventually removed from the flight by security.

In a statement to JOE, Ryanair confirmed the passenger was removed from the flight after “breaching airport security and becoming disruptive on board”.

“An individual on this flight from London Stansted to Dublin (15 Dec) was removed by the crew after breaching airport security and becoming disruptive on board,” Ryanair said.

“The safety and security of all Ryanair flights is our number one priority and we will not allow passengers to travel who do not fully comply with safety and security regulations.”
