The dad-of-three was working in the Castletown area in Meath before the tragedy unfolded.
A dad-of-three has tragically died in a farming accident in Co. Meath.
The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead following a workplace incident on Tuesday, June 20th.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in Castletown, Meath just after 12.30pm.
According to reports, the dad was attempting to remove something from a grass baler when the incident happened.
A source told The Irish Mirror that the local community is in shock following the tragedy.
Locals described the man as a "good friend" and "a lovely man".
One of the man's friends told the publication, "He was a good friend of mine and a lovely man, this is a small enough area where everyone knows each other and the news is just sinking in at the moment."
They said his death is "an absolute tragedy".
The man has not yet been named but Gardaí confirmed he is aged in his 30s. He was also a dad-of-three.
