Denny is currently recalling a batch of black pudding as it may contain small pieces of blue plastic.
The manufacturer is recalling the product – 199g packet – due to a possible choking hazard.
A notice issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland on Saturday (29 June) notes that the batch in question has a use by date of 17 July 2019.
No other products are affected by this recall.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores where the product is sold, as instructed by the FSAI.
Customers who may have purchased the product in question are advised not to consume the implicated batch.
