Don Lemon commented on Trump's wife, his physical appearance, and his intelligence.
Over the weekend, US President Donald Trump retweeted a conspiracy theory that Barack Obama had an involvement in a "Russian hoax" that tried to see Trump impeached.
This caused CNN journalist Don Lemon to ask the question - what is it that causes Obama to get under Trump's skin the way it does?
Lemon got quite personal in his monologue on Sunday night, listing off the potential reasons as to why Trump seemingly has such a problem with the man who preceded him.
He said: "Is it because he's smarter than you? Better educated? Made it on his own? Didn't need daddy's help."
And it only got even more personal from there.
Lemon continued: "His wife is more accomplished. Better looking. I don't know, what is it about him? That he's a black man that's accomplished. That he punked you on the whole birth certificate thing? Just wondering."

Ouch.
Trump has yet to respond to Lemon, on Twitter or otherwise, as he attempts to deal with the coronavirus pandemic throughout America.
Last week, it was reported that the Covid-19 death toll in the US exceeded the amount of Americans who died during the Vietnam War.
