Donald Trump’s latest typo is honestly a thing of beauty

Donald Trump Hamberders

I’m sorry but what the hell is wrong with this guy?

It’s pretty clear to us all by now that Donald Trump plays it pretty fast and loose when he gets on Twitter, but his latest mistake actually beggars belief.

As you might have seen, the United States president made the decision last night to personally fund a banquet for the national championship-winning Clemson football team in the midst of a government shutout.

There’s no federal funding available at the moment, so Trump went out of pocket himself and put on a spread. Of McDonald’s. Obviously, that’s not typical banquet food, but McDonald’s have a lot of high quality products on offer. You know, Chicken McNuggets. Fries. Hamburgers.

But Donald Trump’s tweet today, championing himself for buying the food, introduced us to an item on the menu we weren’t familiar with: “Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!”

Did you spot it? It’s before “etc.” Hamberders. Hamberders.

Typos happen, we accept that, but hamberders. That’s not just one wrong letter. That’s two wrong letters. Does he think that’s how you spell hamburgers? Does he think that’s how you pronounce hamburgers?

As always, Trump has left us with far more questions than answers.
