Donegal woman dies while holidaying in Spain

An Irish woman has tragically died while on holiday in Spain with her family.

The woman, who was from Donegal, died as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was rushed to hospital and treated for her injuries but died shortly afterwards, according to the Mirror.

The woman is believed to have been in her 70s, and had been holidaying in Spain with her children and grandchildren.

The woman’s name has not been made public, and a police investigation is being conducted into the cause of the incident.

Department of Foreign Affairs press office have confirmed that they are providing consular assistance to the family.
