That’s just good customer service 101.

We had the story earlier that a Galway parish was offering a drive-thru Ash Wednesday service in the morning so people could get their ashes to go.

For those who couldn’t attend mass in Glenamaddy on the day, there was the option to drive their car/tractor/moped through one gate of the church from 8am to 9.30am, get their ashes from the sanctuary of their vehicle, and then exit through another gate.

It’s not the first year St Patrick’s Church have run the service, but this year was their most successful of the project.

All though they were quick to point out there there’s also a mass on this evening.

We’ve got ourselves an innovative church out in Galway, we bet it won’t be long until they’re joining churches in introducing contactless payments for collections.

We wonder is drive-thru communion the next thing on the horizon?
