Parts of Dublin Airport were evacuated on Friday morning, with the Dublin Airport Authority revealing that someone had tampered with a fire alarm.
In a statement to JOE, the DAA confirmed: ‘Someone triggered a break glass alarm panel and people were evacuated from part of Terminal 1 for about two minutes.’
Fire crews attended the scene at Dublin Airport to deal with the issue.
David Whelan posted images of the scene to Twitter, and revealed that passengers were allowed back in shortly afterwards.
