Great news for the north side.
Dublin Bikes are adding 15 new docking stations and at least 100 new bicycles to the scheme this spring.
The long-delayed expansion will see new stations and rental bikes being made available in April, with work due to begin this week and through until the end of March.
The chief focus is on the north inner city with stations due to be erected around DIT Grangegorman, Connolly Station, Mountjoy Square and Drumcondra. Two more stations will also be added to the south side in order to expand its current capacity, these being at Merrion Square and Wilton Terrace.
The 15 new station sites will be as follows;

- Rathdown Road, D7
- Charleville Road, D7
- Phibsborough Road, D7
- George’s Lane, D7
- Western Way, D7
- Avondale Road, D7
- North Circular Road, Drumcondra, D1
- Mountjoy Square East, D1
- Killarney Street, D1
- Buckingham Street Lower, D1
- Merrion Square South, D2
- Wilton Terrace, D2
