Smoke was seen billowing from underneath one of the carriages.
A Dublin-bound commuter train was forced to be abandoned at the Clongriffin station on Tuesday morning after one of its carriages caught fire.
The train was travelling from Drogheda to Pearse Station in the city centre.
Thankfully, nobody was injured and Irish Rail staff managed to put the fire out.
According to The Irish Times, the cause of the fire remains unknown.
