The fire broke out at St. Margaret’s recycling plant in Sandyhill in north Dublin and while it could be seen from Dublin Airport, it is not having an impact on airport operations.

Gardaí warned that there was a large amount of smoke in the area and urged motorists to drive carefully in the vicinity.
