Has anyone else noticed it’s a little bit on the toasty side out there?
Yep, it’s another scorcher, and not to come over all Irish Mammy on you but if you’re not caked in Factor 30 right you’re in for a world of hurt.
A WORLD of hurt.
Temperatures reached 32 degrees in parts of the country on Thursday and Friday is going to be just as warm in the west of the country, with the vague possibility of slightly cooler numbers on the east coast.
Don’t count on it, though, and Dublin Fire Brigade have urged people to avoid going out in the blazing hot sunshine between the hours of 11am and 3pm.
They tweeted: Lunchtime? It is recommended that you stay out of the sun between 11am and 3pm, however if you are out for lunch apply sunscreen, wear a hat and drink fluids. Walk in the shade if you can. You should aim to drink 5 pints of water today. #heatwave
